- MIB # 10.7 - Penicillin from
Procaine Penicillin
- Changed the brand name from APA PEN-P 110 to PEN-P 110.
- Changed the brand name from APA PEN-P 100 to PEN-P 1000.
- Vétoquinol N.-A. Inc.,
is the new sponsor for PEN-P 110 and PEN-P 1000.
- Deleted one brand called VETO-PEN (Vétoquinol N.-A. Inc.)
- MIB # 10.14 - Zinc Bacitracin
and Procaine Penicillin (deleted)

proliferative enteropathy (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis sensitive to
chlortetracycline HCI.
- MIB # 43 - Tylosin

- Added 2 new claims (added claims 5 and 6).
- Claim 5: As an aid in the treatment of porcine proliferative enteropathy
(ileitis), associated with Lawsonia
intracellularis when used following treatment with Elanco Tylan
Soluble.
- Claim 6: As an aid in the treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens in broiler
chickens.
- MIB # 46 - Melengestrol
Acetate
- Changed withdrawal time (from 48 hours to 24 hours) for feeds containing
MGA 100 PREMIX.
- MIB # 57 - Monensin Sodium
- Deleted the statement: NOTE: MONENSIN PREMIX is approved only for claims 1,
2, 3, 4 & 5
- Added 3 new claims for COBAN PREMIX: (added claims 6, 7, and 8).
- Under Claim #2; removed Caution statement #4 for Coban and Rumensin
Premixes.
- Under Claim #2; modified Directions for Use for Coban and Rumensin Premixes
only.
- Under Claim #1; deleted Caution statement #2.
- Modified directions for use under Claims 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8 (ie deleted the statement; " This calculation
has been made for a wide range of body weights, using six different dry matter
intake levels and is presented in "Daily Intake of Monensin Activity"
tables found in the Rumensin Technical Reference Guide Addendum, or is
available from the manufacturer in the case of Monensin Premix".

- Under Claim 1, revised the bacterial name from Corynebacterium pyogenes to
Actinomyces pyogenes to Arcanobacterium pyogenes.
- MIB # 68 - Lincomycin
- Changed withdrawal time from 2 days to 1-day for feeds containing
LINCOMYCIN 44 PREMIX; LINCOMYCIN 110 PREMIX, LINCOMYCIN 44 G PREMIX; and
LINCOMYCIN 110 G PREMIX at drug level of 220 mg/kg of complete feed.
- New zero withdrawal time for feeds containing LNCOMYCIN 44 PREMIX;
LINCOMYCIN 110 PREMIX, LINCOMYCIN 44 G PREMIX; and LINCOMYCIN 110 G PREMIX at
drug level of 110 mg/kg of
complete feed.
- MIB #69 - Salinomycin
Sodium
- Added one new brand called BIO-COX 120 G PLUS PREMIX (Alpharma Canada
Corporation).
- Huvepharma is the new sponsor for SACOX 120 MEDICATED PREMIX.
- MIB # 78 - Ivermectin
- Changed withdrawal time from 5 days to 14 days for feeds containing
Ivermectin when fed to breeding sows.
- Added one new brand called NOROMECTIN PREMIX FOR SWINE (Norbrook
Laboratories Limited).
- MIB # 80 - Tilmicosin
- Added one new claim (Claim #2): As an aid in reducing the severity of
porcine polyserositis and arthritis associated with Haemophilus parasuis (Glasser's Disease) when
fed to pigs approximately 7 days prior to anticipated disease outbreak.
- MIB # 82 - Ractopamine
hydrochloride
- Added one new brand called OPTAFLEXX 100 Premix (Elanco, Division Eli Lilly
Canada Inc.)
- Added 2 new claims for OPTAFLEXX: (added claims 3 and 4).
- Deleted one brand called PAYLEAN 100 PREMIX (Elanco, Division Eli Lilly
Canada Inc.)
- Revised Claim #3 and Claim #4 to include a restriction to the use of this
product to confined cattle greater than 400 kg
body weight.
