  1. In the case of pet chews derived from cloven-hoofed animals, the rawhide materials were derived from animals that originated in Canada or have been legally imported from the USA.
  2. Canada has been free of rinderpest, foot and mouth disease, contagious bovine pleuropneumonia, and African swine fever for the previous six (6) months.
  3. In the case of pet chews derived from poultry, the rawhide materials were derived from animals that originated in Canada or have been legally imported from the USA.
  4. Canada has been free of velogenic newcastle disease and highly pathogenic avian influenza for the previous six (6) months.
  5. The manufacturing plant is approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for the production and packaging of pet chews.
  6. We have the manufacturer's declaration on file, confirming that the rawhide has been dehaired, degreased, dried and is free of blood and dirt.
  7. The products are transported in new and clean containers.
